Q. Do you take credit cards?

- Yes!  We’ve updated our site so that you can easily pay with your credit card.  Transactions will go through Pay Pal, one of the premier services in the country.  They are extremely safe and offer buyer protection!

Q. Are there any hidden fees?

-  No way!  We are up front, we want your business and we want you to send your friends too.  The only additional fee is to residents of Iowa who must pay 7% sales tax.

Q. What are your shipping charges?

-Shipping to the continental United States is included in the prices that are listed. For orders to other locations, please contact us. We will only charge you actual shipping rates.

Q. How long will it take to get my item?

-In most cases, if you pay by Pay-Pal or money order, your call will be shipped through the post office within a few days of the payment being received. Personal checks will be cleared before we ship your calls. This could take up to two weeks. You should receive your item within a week after it has been shipped. If for some reason this is not possible (such as we need to make your call or wait for a supply order), we will contact you to make other arrangements. We are a small company and on occasion may need some extra time to get the call to you. If this happens we will contact you to ensure that it will be an acceptable time frame. Remember, good things are worth waiting for!

Q. Can you send me a sound clip of your custom calls?

-Yes we can. We haven't been able to put the sounds on the site yet, but if you want to hear how a call sounds send us an e-mail. We will send you a sound clip. We hope to have links to sound clips by each call description soon.

Q. Is there a warranty on your custom calls?

-We sell quality products. It is our promise that all of the calls that we sell will sound great. If for some reason the call is out of tune send it back. We will tune it properly or replace it if needed. We are hunters and realize how hard equipment gets used. Our calls will hold up to a lot of abuse. If the call doesn’t work because of something we did, we will replace it.  Understandably though, if a call is ruined by you (for example you run over it with the truck or your lab puppy chews it up) we will be unable to replace the call.

Q. Does howling alone work or do I have to buy other calls?

-It depends on what your hunting. It is very common to call in coyotes using only a howler. This holds especially true late in the season. In fox or cat country it would be wise to use a distress call after howling to increase your shooting opportunities. It would be atypical for a fox or cat to respond to howling.

Q. What time of the year do you do most of your predator calling?

-If we didn't have real jobs we would go all the time. Unfortunately we have to work. Coyotes can be hunted through out the year in Iowa and hunting them from October through April can be productive. They can be called at any time of the year though. Since we sell the pelts, we normally start calling in November. The pelts are prime, we can shoot fox, and the young animals are out looking for food which allows you to make a few mistakes and still be successful. We quit hunting fox shortly after Christmas because the season closes. We hunt coyotes until we start hunting snow geese in March. Calling success drops dramatically after the shotgun deer seasons and we don't go quite as often. Don't be fooled by what other predator hunters say. Savvy hunters will still shoot some yotes. Try sitting at each stand a little longer when hunting late in the season.
