Other Calls

There’s always an open season!

Text Box: DON’T FORGET:

-Take a kid hunting. As sportsmen, we need to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy the same great sports that we do today.
Remember, if you teach your child to hunt with you today, you'll have a friend to hunt with tomorrow.

-As sportsmen, we are all responsible for our
actions. In the eyes of many, we are also
responsible for the
actions of other
sportsmen. One person with bad habits can have a profound effect on how we are viewed by the general public. In today's society, we need to make every effort we can to improve the image of hunters. Your hunting memories will be much more meaningful if you know that game was taken in fair chase. Be an example for other
hunters to follow. Insist that your hunting partners obey hunting regulations and a hunter's code of ethics. If we take care of our recreational opportunities, we can
ensure that future
generations will be able to enjoy all of the things that we do today.

-The most important thing about hunting is not killing critters. It's spending quality time outdoors, with your friends, and away from the stress of everyday life. If you are lucky, you can spend a few hours with your buddies
talking about the big flights of waterfowl that will be coming, how hard your heart will be pounding when the first ‘yote of the year comes trotting in, and laugh at the common misfortunes of the average hunter. If you’re really lucky, you might even get to do a little shooting!

-Please be safe and
courteous to everyone you meet in the field.

If you're browsing this site, chances are you like to be outside no matter what kind of game your after. So do we.

All of us spend as much time hunting as we can. We continuously look for ways to make our hunts more successful. It is our belief that calling is one of the most important aspects of hunting. The only thing that may be more important is location. That is why we spend so much time developing calls that work.

Check out the calls we make for other species of game. You'll be glad that you did.

The Limbhanger $35.00 Slate, Copper, or Aluminum

These friction calls are plain awesome folks.  They look great and will help you seal the deal on a “limbhanger”.  Chose from slate, copper, or aluminum surfaces and bring a long beard in close.  Our slate call isn’t super loud but it makes just the right volume semi raspy hen that gets a gobbler’s blood boiling.  Remember, you don’t always want volume when you’re turkey hunting.  Subtle purring and a few soft yelps is often your best bet.  Let them find you.  If you want a little smoother sound, and a bit more volume, choose the copper version. Copper plated shotgun pellets make a good thing great and copper versions of turkey slates are no different.  You’ll just have to trust us.  For those extreme turkey hunters who have everything, an aluminum call may ring the ears of a boss tom and bring him on the run.  It produces a loud high pitched raspy hen sound that really seems to drive ‘em nuts.  We’ll send you a striker with your call.

This call is what you need if you are a bow hunter. You know that you want a great sounding call, why not get one that looks great too? The Rut Stopper will make the sounds that you need to get that monster buck running your way. It has an adjustable reed which allows you to modify the sound of the call so that it's just the way you want it.

The Rut Stopper  -  $20.00

Our crow call, just like our other products, sounds just right. When you're out in the woods chasing gobblers, a crow call can be your best friend. Locate toms before you stumble across them. You'll know where they are and crow sounds won't scare them away. We've also found that making a few crow sounds while predator hunting helps coyotes and fox feel a bit more comfortable on their way to the call. Of course a crow call is a must when your hunting crows. If you've never tried it, you're missing out. The shooting can be fast and furious. Give this call a try and you'll see why we call it Black Death. None of us go to the turkey woods with out one.

Black Death  -  $15.00

Turkey slate strikers  -  $3.50 each

If you're like most turkey hunters, you carry a large arsenal of calls. It is probably the case that you've lost a few strikers for your slate calls while chasing gobblers. We've all done the same thing and that's why we offer these. The strikers are made from a variety of woods and produce good sound on most slates. Grab a few and try them out.  The more you use them, the better they will sound.
